Food
Princeton features a farmer’s market and includes cuisine from various cultures into its dinings, such as “a mix of Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Latin American and other cuisines.” To dine, students can eat at dining halls in their residential college. For restaurant options, visit here. To search any nearby cafes, visit here. For more information, visit Princeton’s dining page.
Dorming vs. Commuting
At Princeton, there are 7 different residential colleges that feature dorms built in with smaller communities: Butler, Forbes, Mathey, New College West, Rockefeller, Whitman, or Yeh. Commuting to Princeton can most likely only be done by public transportation or walking. Freshmen and sophomores are required to dorm at Princeton, and they can apply for a parking permit only if their circumstances are compelling enough. To learn more, visit Princeton’s transportation page.
